Sometimes, we just need another perspective to help us find the way forward through grief, conflict, and other difficult moments in life. I don't always have answers, but I offer to listen, to hold, and to try to understand your experience.
I graduated from Denver Seminary with a Doctor of Ministry degree in Marriage and Family Counseling. I am not licensed as a therapist and I do not attempt to act like one. Instead, I serve as kind of an ambulance until you can meet with a professional therapist. In the meantime, my approach to helpful listening includes a focus on emotions, within the context of family systems, to find solutions for immediate concerns. My intent is to listen with empathy, and to equip you with one or two practical things you can try to find resolution and peace.Â
